Pack 565 Parent Shopping List

The Scout Shop is located at 5344 Trail Lake Drive.

Exit I-20 at Granbury Road Exit 434. Go South on Granbury Road. Turn left at the second light onto Wedgemont Circle. Turn left into Wedgewood Village shopping center. The Scout Shop is on the left next to the Ming’s Wok restaurant.

Its hours of operation are 9 AM – 6:30 PM (M-F) and 9 AM – 3:00 PM (Sat). The shop is closed on Sundays. If you bring this sheet with you, they will help you.

If you don’t want to sew everything on the shirt yourself, they can sew the patches on for a reasonable fee. Ask for this if you want it.

The Den that your Son will be in is determined by his grade this fall:

Tigers – Will be in 1^st Grade (Den 3)
Wolves – Will be in 2^nd Grade (Den 5)
Bears – Will be in 3^rd Grade (Den 4)
Webelos – Will be in 4^th Grade (To-Be-Named Den) or 5^th Grade (Scorpions Den)

Scout Manual

Each Scout needs to purchase the appropriate scout manual for his age group

(Tiger Handbook for 1^st graders, Wolf Handbook for 2^nd graders, Bear for 3^rd, and Webelos for 4^th or 5^th graders).

1. Scout Shirt – (Tigers, Wolves and Bears – Blue Shirt; Webelos – Tan shirt)

2. Patches for Scout Shirt

a. Den Number Patch or Patrol Patch (see above)

b. Longhorn Council Strip

c. Pack Numerals – “565”

d. World Crest Patch

3. Neckerchief and Slide

a. Orange for Tigers with a Tiger Neckerchief Slide

b. Yellow for Wolves with a Wolf Cub Neckerchief Slide

c. Blue for Bears with a Bear Cub Neckerchief Slide

d. Plaid for Webelos with a Webelos Neckerchief Slide

4. Belt

Blue with Cub Scout emblem buckle for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos

5. Hat (unique for Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos)

6. Pants (optional – blue jeans or any dark pants are a fine alternative)

b. Olive green for Webelos

7. Socks (optional – any socks are fine)
